Valentines?

Hey, purely theoretical audience! Doing anything for Valentine's Day tomorrow?

Unfortunately, school awaits me so I'm going to school. But that doesn't mean it's not going to be Valentiney!

I have been sick with the flu at home for the past 5 days, and I think I am finally better to go back to school tomorrow! This also gave me some time to work on something, and of course, it's a valentine! Well, 4 really. So, since I am a fail planner, I didn't take pictures of what I did and the actual project, so you don't get to see the cork close up. Yea, cork. As most, well none, of you know, I collect corks. Multitudes and multitudes of corks.

Well, what I did with the corks was I took corks with wine stained ends, and painted hearts on the ends with the stain. I watercolored some stock paper red, and made origami cups that fit the corks. I also stuck some dark chocolate in there for good measure. then I covered it in clear paper for protection, and decorated with more of the paper.

Cute, huh? It was actually quite a grueling process, considering I have the flu and all. *wink*

Gorgeous

Mr Black adores his new bracelet! It's my former hairband...he's not attacking it like usual, I think it's because he knows he looks amazing.

Bloglovin'

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/4657641/?claim=nf98m39mzms">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>

Hey purely theoretical audience! Just putting this link here so "you" can find my blog on bloglovin. Really, it's just so I can claim my blog on Bloglovin' because I know that no one here will. Because here's one of the world's cold truths: you guys, my purely theoretical audience, don't exist. That should be obvious anyways.

Lazy Days!

I hope everyone is having an exceptionally lazy MLK Jr Day! I have a project due tomorrow from over this long weekend, and a couple of the pictures I drew I thought I would show you.

United States National and Regional Growth  1800-1840
Cotton Gin and the Expansion of Slavery (left)
Nationalism (right)
Monro Doctrine of 1823 (left)
My Author's Bio (right)
My favorite is the last one with the globe and "Uncle Sam". It's been a rather lazy weekend like it should be, so I'm slightly satisfied. I'm only slightly satisfied because I wanted a long weekend to draw with my pastels, but I had to do my project. Also, like she does all the time, my mom invited people over without telling me. On Saturday and Sunday. -_- ERGH. And we don't have time to go to Trader Joe's today, so I have to without TJ's SUPER AWESOME FOOD. poopy.

Almost the End....

The end is upon us! The end of my second week of school, actually. The first two weeks have taken so long I'm afraid the weeks/months/school year will never end! I'm sure in the future I'll say "awww 8th grade went by too fast!" but right now I don't care. My school has a literary anthology that we do, and students submit drawings for the cover. I'm thinking of doing it this year and I have some pretty good ideas. And, as you, my purely theoretical audience. all have probably realized that I would not keep my promise to do the cat city USA thingy. so sorry in advance.

The only thing I have to show you is the back of a flashcard I used in school which I planted a curlicue forest on. Oh and also half drawn sketches I need for my project due on Tuesday. Ugh.
